Preeceville peewee ball team loses in semi-final round of provincials

The Preeceville Aces peewee ball team lost in the semi-final round at the A2 (small town) provincials in Hudson Bay during the weekend. “There were two pools of four for a total of eight teams,” said Kipp Bayer, coach.

The Preeceville Aces peewee ball team lost in the semi-final round at the A2 (small town) provincials in Hudson Bay during the weekend.

“There were two pools of four for a total of eight teams,” said Kipp Bayer, coach.

“We won our pool with a record of 3-0, defeating Hudson Bay 5-4, Macklin 9-3, and Moose Mountain 13-11. We lost in the semi-fi nal round to Glaslyn by a score of 12-1.”

Teams in the other pool were from Glaslyn, Dinsmore, Southey and Carnduff.

Dinsmore defeated Glaslyn by a score 8-5 in the final.
