Sandy Beach holds annual disc golf event

SANDY BEACH - The Sandy Beach (on Good Spirit Lake) Disc Golf Course was host to its annual tournament Sunday.

The event saw 31 golfers take the challenge of throwing a good round on a warm and sunny August day.

Dion Bowman from Regina would end up with the top score of the day throwing par.

Nate Wolos from Sandy Beach was close with a plus-one.

Closest-to-the- pin and longest drive for ladies were both thrown by Katelyn Butz.

Longest drive for men was Bowman, while Wolos took closest-to-the-pin.
