June 20 produced three games, all played out as scheduled. The Willowbrook Royals upended the Canora Supers in Canora by a 9-3 score.

The Yorkton Cardinals edged the Langenburg Indians by a 4-3 margin, and later that same night, fought the Yorkton Yankees to a 5-5 tie.

It would be the first of two games for the Yankees.

They played the Parkland Padres and won to a tune of 11-3 on June 21.

The Yorkton Orioles took on the Indians earlier that day and won to a tune of 6-4. Friday night featured only one contest.

The Supers travelled to Langenburg and came up one run short, falling 4-3 to the Indians. Saturday afternoon was marked by one game also; the Yankees continued their winning ways, getting past the Swan River Reds by a count of 7-4.

Sunday also had only two teams in action, with Canora travelling to the Orville Minish Field in Swan River to play the Reds. Scores were not updated in time for press.

Monday evening had two features on the bill. The Melville Bison were slated to play in Yorkton against the Cardinals and the Yankees were looking for yet another 'w' when they hosted Canora.

Yesterday (Tuesday) had three games on the schedule. The Parkland Padres were in Swan River. The Royals were to play in Yorkton against the Cardinals, and the Bison were slated to play the Indians in Langenburg. Results of Tuesday's action would not be available in time for press.

Tonight's lone game (Wednesday) has the Royals in Yorkton to play the Yankees. Game time is slated for 8 p.m.

The Yankees were sitting in top spot in the SESBL with 19 points as of Sunday. They were also the lone undefeated club as of Sunday (June 24) with a flawless record of 9-0.

Willowbrook was in second place at 7-1 and 14 points.

Canora held third position with 11 points and a 5-4 record. The Bison had fourth position with a 4-3 record and the Cardinals were one game under .500, sitting at 3-4 with seven points through eight games played.

Langenburg and the Orioles round out the placings, in sixth and seventh respectively.

Parkland and Swan River are searching for their first wins of the season.
