The December Male Athlete of the Month is a multi-sport athlete at Sacred Heart.

His coaches, regardless of the sport all say he gives 110 per cent, always works hard to improve his skills and at game time, he comes to play.

On the football team, his coaches say he was a great team leader.

He was the strongest at shedding the initial block and staying with his man to make the tackle.

The football coaches left him to play the outside all by himself because they had confidence in him and that allowed for extra help to be moved to the opposite side.

This athlete had the third-most tackles on the football team this season.

On the volleyball team, his coach says he is a versatile player who could play the right side position and also set when needed. He often provided timely blocks, shutting down the opposing teams power hitters He is known as a consistent, smart volleyball player except the time he went back to serve but was confused by all of the lines on the gym floor and ended up serving from four feet inside the court. The December male Athlete of the Month is Travis Inglis.

The December Female Athlete of the month is a member of the senior girls volleyball team.

This athlete has dedicated herself to the sport of volleyball for the past four years playing with the Lady Saints.

Her enthusiasm and hard work in practice and in games make her a natural leader for her fellow teammates.

This year, she was a key part of the Lady Saints team that won several bronze medals and a gold medal in Estevan.

Her coach says she is such a valuable athlete because she can play every single p\osition at a moments notice and play all of them very well.

She has one of the hardest and most consistent serves on the team and defensively she was strong on serve receive and the team could always count on her to make a dig on a hard hit ball.
