Sacred Heart High School is hosting a girls' basketball tournament on Feb. 11 as the girls pick up their Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association basketball schedule in 2012.
The draw includes four teams. Melville, Canora, Porcupine Plain and Sacred Heart, who will open up against Porcupine Plain at 10:30 a.m.
They play Canora at 12 noon and Melville at 5:30 p.m.
Games will be eight minutes quarters with one minute in between quarters and a five minute halftime.
There will be plaques for first and second place teams. Wins and then points will be used to break any ties.
SHHS coach Chris Hansen said the team will be heading to Notre Dame for Conference play on March 9-10.
In regard to the tournament this weekend, Hansen said they have already seen what Canora looks like this season, however they haven't seen Melville's team yet or the Porcupine Plains team.
