Come and ski around the world with the Yorkton Cross Country Ski Club.
We'll ski from swtation to station along our beautifully well-groomed trails and pick up miniature flags along the way.
When we get back to the clubhouse, we'll locate the countries on the world map and plant the flags.
We will be keeping track of the kilometres skied and over the next few years we will have skied around the world. Refreshments will be available at a nominal fee.
Proceedings go towards the grooming fund.
It takes place at the ski trails of the Deer Park Golf Course on Jan. 29. Anyone wishing further information may contact Susan Hurst at 306-782-7068.
Basic ski instruction and a refresher course will also be offered at 1 p.m., with the trail ski to follow.
Recommended attire is a warm hat, scarf, as well as a pin, flag or costume from a country of your choice.
