B3Xtreme Sports in Yorkton will be creating a Ambition/B3 snowskate team this winter. Ambition is a company that sells snowskates and issued a press release recently that they will be sponsoring a local snowskate team. A snowskate is a hybrid of a skateboard and a snowboard. It is intended to allow skateboard-style tricks in the snow. There are many types depending on the brand or style of snowskate. The sponsorship is the first time a skateshop starts its own snowskate team. "Saskatchewan is an awesome province for snowskating and we're hyped at the opportunity to support local riders with the boys at B3," reads the release.
