The disc golf course at Patrick Park is now complete and ready for use. The nine-hole course is complete with numbered holes as well as a practice 'green'. There is no cost to play, and the course doesn't close.

The Health Foundation Charity Road Race Learn to Run clinics are still being offered Tuesday and Thursdays at 5:45 p.m. They are held at the YRHS parking lot. Anyone is welcome to join but must sign up for the Road Race in August. Clinics stress nutrition, stretching and pacing.



The Western Major Baseball League Yorkton Cardinals were scheduled to play Monday night against Weyburn but the game got rained out. Yorkton is scheduled to host two more games this week, both against the Lethbridge Bulls. Opening pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m


The City will be offering a wakeboard clinic next month at York Lake. Registration deadline is on June 30. The cost is $65 per one-day clinic.


Scuba diving will be available for five days this summer. To register for the classes, contact the Gallagher Centre water park at 786-1740 or Source Embroidery at 783-0660. Scuba equipment is provided at no extra cost. The classes are available at a cost of $279 + GST.



The Junior Cardinals will play a rare Friday night home game this week when they host Willowbrook at 7:30 p.m. They come back home on Sunday to play Swan River at 1 p.m., Sunday.
