Springer's Gymnastics

The Springer's Gymnastics team held their annual Invitational gymnastics meet over the weekend at the Sacred Heart High School. Almost 250 gymnasts were involved in competitive and recreational gymnastics.


The Springer's Gymnastics team held their annual Invitational gymnastics meet over the weekend at the Sacred Heart High School.

Almost 250 gymnasts were involved in competitive and recreational gymnastics.

They included competition in gym cat beginner, gym cat advanced as well as provincial level I, II and III.

Tanya Nystrom, chair of the competition said there were many clubs that came to Yorkton for both days of the event.

They included Hudson Bay, Wadena, CanAm Saskatoon as well as Springer's in Yorkton.

"They're all performing well," she said.

She noted that all provincial athletes have qualified for the provincial meet.

It will run for three days in April, she said and will include men's, women's and trampoline.
