The 15U AA Expos continued their great season as they beat Regina in two games over the weekend.
In Game 1, the Expos beat the White Sox 19-4 and then 17-4 in Game 2.
Sam Cristo and Joe Zarowney were significant contributors. Cristo went 3-fo-5 and scored five runs while also pitching three innings in relief.
Meanwhile, Zarowney scored five runs, going 2-for-3.
Next up for the 15U AA Expos will be this weekend when they travel to Meadow Lake for the U15 AA Tier 1 Provincials.
The Expos will be in Pool B and will be joined by the Meadow Lake Sox, the Lloydminister Twins and the East Central Dodgers from Humboldt.
Other teams in the tournament are the Macklin Lakers, Assiniboia Aces, Northeast Wolfpack out of Tisdale, and the Prince Albert Royals are all in Pool A.
Provincials start on Friday with round-robin games within the pools and continue on Saturday. On Sunday, the top two teams in each pool advancing to the semi-finals and the finals.
