The YRHS Zumbathon for Celiac Research is taking place in two days' time in the YRHS gymnasium from 7-10 p.m.
Tickets are available both in advance and at the door, says Tara Lazurko, president of the YRHS SRC (Student Representative Committee) for $5 for students and $10 for adults.
The event, which will also include an auction and will have a canteen available, is sponsored by forever FIT.
Lazurko and other organizers of the Zumbathon are hoping for a good sized crowd out Friday night because it's in support of a current YRHS student, notes Lazurko.
"One of the girls in our school has it."
Lazurko has tickets available today (Wednesday), tomorrow and Friday from 11:10-1:20 p.m.
Forever FIT is also selling them, says Lazurko. There will also be guest speakers to talk about Celiac.
"It's all about getting people outas many as we can."
The Zumbathon is open to the public.
