The Yorkton Harvest have made a coaching change. Following two seasons in which he has steered the ship in the right direction, Manitoba-born Graham Garrett has decided to step down as coach of the second-highest ranked hockey team in Yorkton.

Gerry Adam and his foursome came out on top of the 'A' side event as the Yorkton Curling Club wrapped up men's competition over the weekend.

The Yorkton Speed Swimming Club sent 12 swimmers to the RYMM Spring Break-Out long course swim meet in Regina recently. Coach Ashley Benko says, "it's great to see such big numbers representing Yorkton in competitive swimming.

When the Yorkton Cardinals begin the 2011 Western Major Baseball League season this June they will have a new look, that being one with a female smile, as Ghazaleh Sailors joins the team - a WMBL first.

The Yorkton volleyball club continues play at home next weekend, (March 26-27) when they host a tournament at the Gloria Hayden Centre and St. Michael's and MC Knoll. The games will be played by the 15 and under age group in the Asics Cup II.
