Letter to Editor-Referendum money better spent elsewhere

Dear Editor: I believe that the government did the prudent thing by revisiting their election commitment to have a referendum on daylight savings time.

Dear Editor:

I believe that the government did the prudent thing by revisiting their election commitment to have a referendum on daylight savings time.

If a referendum was going to cost the taxpayers of the province $1 million dollars, I believe that money could be better spent elsewhere.

If the homework was done by the government and the results were conclusive, I am fine with the government's decision. After all, isn't that not why we elect politicians, to make decisions for us.

There is a reason why politicians are called representatives, and every four years the people of the province can choose their representative.
