Dear Editor:
Before the privatization of garbage pick-up in the city, garbage cans were in the back lane to get the stink and flies away from the house. After graduating to large dumpsters and now fancy wheeled dumpsters, we will have stink and flies at the front door.
I as a rate payer, I want these dumpsters parked and picked up in the back lane again. I get the feeling the city is being dictated to in this matter and being gouged in the cost of the service, the contract not being let by competitive bid.
