Dear Editor:
The Board of New Horizon's Senior Citizens of Yorkton Inc. wish to express our appreciation to the Federal Government for a grant of $15,874.00 toward a major renovation of our kitchen. This project is funded by the Government of Canada through the New Horizons for Senior's Program.
We also wish to express our appreciation to the Painted Hand Community Development Corporation for a grant in the amount of $1,900.00 to assist in the re-painting of the lower level of our hall.
Through grants such as these and through the support of the community we hope to have the existing hall completely renovated and upgraded within the next twelve months.
