Dear EditorCongratulations to Yorkton and all the volunteers who made "Football Week in the Parkland" one of the best community events in recent history.The participation of residents, businesses, and organizations was simply amazing and it made me proud to be from Yorkton.
However, in order to win the Riderville contest we need your help. The competition committeecriterion thatis being used is very weak - for example, no one from the committee visited Yorkton during our special week.We need to persuade them that we areRiderville!One of the ways is to write a shortessay and submit it along with some photos.It would really help our cause if as many people as possible would submit a short essay on "Why Yorkton is Riderville" along with 5 photos (or a 30 sec. video).
