Dear Editor,
On behalf of all of us that use the trails around Hopkins Lake [Ravine Ecological Preserve], I would like to thank the City of Yorkton.
The young man and lady that work for the Parks Department have cleared the bush trails this fall and made a safe from tripping trail for those of us that use these trails.
The initiative that these two people has shown will give us many satisfying trips walking and snow shoeing this small piece of old growth timber.
The beavers have been beaten and we again have a beautiful trail system. The opportunity to watch and enjoy the migratory waterfall, hares and rabbits, squirrels, birds and deer continue.
Throughout the spring, summer and fall the city workers have kept up this park for us to enjoy.
So again thanks to the city.
