Kudos to the Yorkton Arts Council and all those involved in bringing the Regina Symphony Orchestra to Yorkton this week. It was a great opportunity to showcase the breadth of music offered by the Symphony, something many outside larger urban centres seldom experience, or have the opportunity to appreciate. Yorkton was one of four stops on the first ever tour by a large contingent of the Symphony, and I hope this is also the first of many times we will see them in our city and other southern Saskatchewan communities. The Symphony also has a great season coming up this fall at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina.
