Stimulated by the events in New Orleans, Louisiana where a major hurricane destroyed much of the city, Paul Paluck of Kamsack was prompted to recall his experiences operating a dray service in Kamsack on August 9, 1944 when much of Kamsack was destroyed by a tornado.
