OUTLOOK - It was another hot weekend in Outlook and area, so much so that the Outlook Stock Car Association decided to hold their racing weekend at earlier times on each day to try and beat some of the heat.
That didn't do much to deter the sun beams, however, with temperatures hitting higher than +35 on Saturday, with Sunday at least being a little calmer.
Both race days, which started at noon, saw cars rip-roaring around the track, giving race fans something to holler at from the stands, or perhaps from the 'cooler' area of the beer gardens.
The next racing weekend is scheduled for August 6 & 7.
