OUTLOOK - An Outlook rock band has learned that they will advance in a Saskatoon competition that could earn them some impressive prizes.

Bad Influence first took the stage at The Roxy on March 9 in Round One of the venue's Band Wars competition, lighting up the place with an electric set that had the crowd buzzing. Now, after a waiting period that no doubt had the band and its fans crossing their fingers, the finalists for Round Two were announced on April 2 and it was revealed that Bad Influence has indeed cracked the top ten.

The band will once again take the stage at The Roxy on Thursday night, April 13 with their set to begin at approximately 10:00. Fans are strongly encouraged to make it out to support this local group, as audience engagement is said to be one of the factors in judging each band's performance.

The winning band of the competition will receive notable prizes including $1000 cash, a three-song professional demo, and an opportunity to headline their own show.

Bad Influence is comprised of lead vocalist Syhra Ellis, guitarist Josh Rude, bassist Bailey Parr-Kennedy, and drummer Scot Wallace.
