OUTLOOK - The Outlook Knights of Columbus recently gave generously to the community, bestowing funds last week to the successful breakfast program at Outlook High School.

Dave Alm, Grand Knight of the organization, met with youth counsellor Shannon Peardon on Tuesday morning, June 6 to give $500 to the program. Through this initiative, OHS provides cereal, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit and whole wheat toast to students who may have missed a bite to eat at home or perhaps just need an extra boost to get through the day.

The breakfast program has been going strong ever since it was started at the school in September 2012. On a weekly basis, it feeds approximately 150 students, adding to its overall huge success, according to Peardon.

Outlook High School's breakfast program is run strictly on fundraising and community donations.

Those who may be interested in donating to the program can contact Peardon at the school.
