OUTLOOK - If there was ever a surefire way to tell if it's officially spring, it may be the presence of outdoor drink stands.

One could be seen outside the doors of Outlook High School last week when Grade 6 students were out selling iced tea and lemonade, which could also be enjoyed combined to form what was called 'swamp water'. The kids were selling drinks in order to purchase new books and furniture for next year's class, and sales were pretty steady over the course of a couple of days, making an impressive $225 altogether. The class came up with a multitude of ideas for raising money, producing five different business plans, and this one was the idea that won out.

Selling the cool and refreshing drinks on this day were students Nash Dolan, Brandt Ivan, Freya Farden, and Emma Grunerud.
