OUTLOOK - Motorists in Outlook have noticed recently that street work that's being carried out this summer has been starting to vastly improve the roads in town.
Local contractors DLN Construction have been tasked with the project to improve the town's roadways, and their work can be seen along Railway Avenue as a work crew was on-site last week paving and smoothing out the road surface, which will make for a much-improved driving experience.
By hiring a local crew, the Town of Outlook is seeing some savings that will allow them to possibly get more done within the town budget.
The Town recently contracted with DLN for major roadwork projects, including large surface area patch jobs and are said to be extremely pleased with their work and their ability to accommodate local traffic. The Town is also appreciative of the public's patience while the work is underway, with jobs being completed on McKenzie Street North, Hearn Street, Cedar Place, and the project at Railway Avenue.
