Santa 'Paws' Day a holiday hit in Outlook

Christmas celebrations go to the dogs in the riverside community.

OUTLOOK - Christmas went to the dogs this year in Outlook.

Santa Paws Day put a focus on our four-legged friends by including them in the activities, held on Saturday, November 26 at the Outlook & District Heritage Museum. People were more than welcome to bring their pet to include them in photos with Santa Claus, and there was hot chocolate being sold in the museum. As well, a chili supper was offered in the late afternoon, which made for a perfect way to keep warm.

Sleigh rides picked up and dropped people off back at the museum, serving as a great way to see the town from a different perspective.

After the sun went down, there were carols sung just outside the museum before the Christmas tree on the front lawn was lit up, signifying a colourful start to the holiday season in Outlook.
