Sneak peek shows interior progress of Bounty hall

Work on the iconic Bounty Theatre continues as many are anticipating the final weekend of May.

OUTLOOK - Giving people a sneak peek of the work that's being carried out on the inside of the Bounty Theatre, those with the Outlook & District Heritage Museum are excited about the progress that's been made on the legendary performance venue.

Gary and Gerry Joyes, two of the hall's most dedicated and hardworking volunteers, recently went about the task of removing lead-based paint from the building's interior and as you can see in these photos, they made sure to look the part before carrying out their work.

It's just one of many tasks that have been carried out by the pair in order to help the hall make its triumphant return. That return is now just three weeks away as Dale Dallas and Shirley Hnatyszyn, uncle and aunt of this reporter, will be the first performers to take the stage of the venue in more than 20 years. The show, which has many people excited, is part of the Prairie Festival weekend of events taking place in Outlook over May 26-28.

The music comes alive in the Bounty Theatre starting on Friday, May 26 at 5:00 pm.
