OUTLOOK - The writing staff of The Outlook are being recognized with award nominations at this year's Better Newspapers Competition, held by the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association.
The Outlook's Shelley Luedtke is in the running for four awards in the categories of Best Saskatchewan Arts or Cultural Series of Stories, Best Saskatchewan Recreational Story or Series of Stories, Best First Nations Coverage, and Best Feature Story.
The Outlook's Derek Ruttle is in the running for a photography award, his first time entering such a category. Ruttle is up for Best Wildlife Photo.
As well, the newspaper is up for Best Editorial Page in the Class B ranking.
The awards will be unveiled during an online ceremony to be held on Friday, May 13.
