OUTLOOK - In amateur hockey action at the Jim Kook Rec Plex on Saturday, February 24, the Under-13 division was on display as the Outlook Ice Hawks hosted the Wilkie Outlaws.
The hosting duties and the presence of family in the stands may have contributed to the Outlook team's mindset as the Ice Hawks managed to dominate the action, with the local team racking up an impressive 14 goals versus Wilkie's lone one. Suffice to say, the Ice Hawks left the ice the dominant victors when the final buzzer had sounded.
The goal for the Outlaws was scored by Lukus Volk in the third period. Goals for the Ice Hawks were scored by Parker Pederson (2), Tevin Wilson, Mercer Thompson (2), Emery Solnicka, and Tucker Bull, but the player of the game had to be Aidan Lee, who sunk seven goals throughout the game for Outlook.
