Sturgis players in the 10U age category (orange jerseys) took to the field to play a home game against Yorkton.

STURGIS — The Sturgis Trojans Lacrosse teams played host to Yorkton and Regina in a home tournament held on May 25.

“No scores were really kept officially and the teams had a great time being back on the field. The day turned out excellent. We had Yorkton bring 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U teams. Regina brought a 12u team. Each team played two games,” said Kristen Peterson, representative for the Sturgis Lacrosse organization.

“After two long COVID-19 yrs with no festivals, it was great to see the fields full of people and a sea of orange (our lacrosse group of players, parents, and fans) at the field again.”
