PREECEVILLE — Children in the Preeceville area are having some outdoor fun, looking for stories outdoors.

A story walk is an unconventional way for children of all ages to spend time outdoors while reading a book. The activity was geared towards promoting reading and physical activity during Literacy Week.

The Preeceville Library, in conjunction with the TD Summer Reading Club, sponsored the activity, which had children searching and reading pages from a children’s story that were individually torn out and laminated, then positioned around the Town of Preeceville administration building. The story features Let's Go by author Julie Flert.

This was also part of the summer reading program, which is held every Wednesday from July 9 to Aug. 20 at the library.
