Liam Ryan Barabonoff passed peacefully in his mama’s arms on December 21. He was surrounded by his dada, big brother and sister, grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins. He will be missed forever. Liam was born a healthy blue eyed, blondie on December 19, 2012 at the Regina General Hospital. He is survived by his mama, (Brittany Ryan), dada (Chad Barabonoff), brother (Ireland), sister (Madelyn), his Grandparents (Willard and Heather Ryan, Jodean Howie and Jim & Sharon Gate), Aunts (Ardean Maki, Janelle Ryan, Jennifer Gate and Erin Ferguson), Uncles (Tyler Maki, Courtney Ryan, Shaun Barabonoff and Darin Barabonoff), cousins (Taylor Barabonoff, Rheeve & Vann Ashfield, Dane & Judd Maki, Carson Connor & Jayden Ryan and Emily & Zoe Barabonoff); numerous great aunts and uncles. He is predeceased by his grandparents Joe and Arlene Barabonoff and great-grandparents Murton and Jeannine Howie. Liam’s brief but bright life was full of love and adventure. He battled brain cancer for ¾ of his time here and always did so with a smile and great strength. Liam loved being at home with his family more than anything in the world. No matter where we went travelling or exploring, he and his best buddy, Gidget – our family pet, wanted to be at home. His favorite times were with family when he would help his cousins cook big suppers for gatherings. He also enjoyed having all the boys together to build Lego, watch Paw Patrol and ride quads. Liam loved big trucks, all things Lego, his quad and snuggling up for movie time. Liam brought family, friends, strangers and whole communities together to help in his fight with cancer. He taught us to love unconditionally, to be playful and to laugh every day. He will be deeply missed and thought of with love and affection every single day. A celebration of Liam’s life was held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, from Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Crystal Bailey B.Th, Certified Celebrant officiating. Liam’s brother, Ireland, and sister, Madelyn, were the candle lighters. Tributes and words of remembrance were given by Sharon Gate and Ardean Maki. Special music “I Won’t Forget You” by Wayne Kirkpatrick was played. Chad, Brittany, Ireland, & Madelyn served as the urn bearers. Honourary bearers were everyone who shared in Liam’s journey. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.baileysfuneralhome.com. Memorial donations in memory of Liam may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or to Telemiracle as gifts of remembrance.
