Legacy Co-op Announces Fuel Good Day 2022 recipients

When you fill up your tank on September 20th at Yorkton Palliser Way, Yorkton West Broadway, Kamsack, Churchbridge or Theodore Legacy Co-op gas bars, the company will donate 10 cents from every litre of fuel sold will be donated to the participating organizations.

YORKTON – Legacy Co-op is excited to share the four community recipients chosen for Fuel Good Day 2022.

The funds raised from this year's Fuel Good Day will go towards recipients in the Parkland area including Paws and Claws Animal Rescue, Society For the Involvement of Good Neighbours (SIGN), Springside Fire Department and Churchbridge Minor Sports.

When you fill up your tank on September 20th at Yorkton Palliser Way, Yorkton West Broadway, Kamsack, Churchbridge or Theodore Legacy Co-op gas bars, the company will donate 10 cents from every litre of fuel sold will be donated to the participating organizations.

“We are proud to support local community organizations and provide funds to aid in the growth and support of our communities," said Richard Burym, Petroleum Division Manager, adding, “Fuel Good Day will be fun for the whole family including meeting the community organizations, giveaways, prizes and special in-store offers.”

Fuel Good Day is held at over 400 Co-op gas bars throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and northwestern Ontario each year in support of a local community organization or initiative. Since 2017, nearly $1.9 million has been raised and invested across Canada.  

Legacy Co-op invites all of its members and guests to fill up at a Legacy Co-op gas bar and participate in the event festivities on September 20th to Fuel Good.
