YORKTON - The Yorkton Horticultural Society held its annual Spring Plant and Bulb Sale June 6.
Many attended seeking new plants and to talk gardening.
The gardening group always stress that ‘gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions’ when promoting the sale, to ensure plant purchasers get the maximum success and enjoyment from their new plants, and for that to happen, they might need some extra information about the plants they are purchasing -- the plant’s light requirements, how big (or small) it grows, and the growth habit: does it stay in a clump or happily spread?
All these things are important to know.
