EASTERN SASKATCHEWAN — Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement Aug. 9 for portions of eastern Saskatchewan.
According to the advisory, which covers Yorkton and Carlyle, among other areas, conditions will be favourable for the development of funnel clouds.
The agency said it has already received reports of funnel clouds.
