Yorkton CoC elects new president

New President said 2024 will be an active year for the organization.

YORKTON - The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce elected its 2024 President at the January Board of Directors meeting held the morning of the 17th.  

The Chamber’s Board is currently comprised of 15 elected members, who in turn, elect the Executive.

Sunil Shah, CPA CA will lead the Chamber in 2024.  Sunil is serving the second year of his second term as a Chamber Director. 

Sunil said that 2024 is going to be an active year.  

“2024 is shaping up to be another year where the Board is involved in several advocacy efforts,” he said, adding, “and of course a highlight will be the Celebrate Success Business Awards to be held in April.”

Joining Shah on the Executive are Mike Stackhouse as Vice President and Chair of the Policy Committee; Bob Knox as Chair of the Business Development Committee; and Stephanie Buckle as Chair of both the Events and Marketing & Communications Committees.  

Stackhouse will also continue his role as Past President as Vanessa Andres, the 2023 President did not seek re-election for another 2 year term on the Board.
