International participation in Saskatoon event

The Yorkton Tribal Council, in partnership with the Yorkton Film Festival, held a special indigenous art exhibit at the Gallagher Centre, tying into the festival.

Pride Week has just been held in the city, and while it was a week dedicated to raising and awareness of the sexual diversity within the city.

The Legion honoured their own, recognizing the many years of service from Yorkton veterans Comrade Peter Wyatt and Cmrd. Ed St. Pierre. After the opening ceremonies, the awards were presented, followed by the ceremonial colour guard.
