Steinbach, Man. – Saskatchewan’s return to school plan while under the COVID-19 pandemic is pretty close to what education expert Michael Zwaagstra would recommend. This includes having kids in school, every day, all day long.

The City of Yorkton is a step closer to acquiring a parcel of land integral in its drainage plan. However, that step is one not particularly palatable to Council as it would ultimately lead to the expropriation of the land.

Yorkton Council unanimously approved revisions to the City’s policy regarding relocating single unit dwellings into Yorkton.

Saskatchewan announces $53 million in supports for tourism sector

There are five new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on August 10, bringing the total to 1,450 cases in Saskatchewan. The new cases are located in the Saskatoon (1), Regina (3) and South Central (1) zones.

Yorkton’s motto is Where Good Things Happen! And as we move through the summer season, visitors continue to stop by the information centre. The tourism industry is an important economic factor for Yorkton, with $38.

The Springside Town Administrator, Kristie Evanovich was diagnosed with cancer in December of 2019. Early in January, 2020 she began rounds of chemotherapy, radiation and surgeries and then COVID-19 hit.
