Leader of the Official Opposition Ryan Meili said in a press conference Monday that Saskatchewan’s provincial budget “missed the mark.

The 2020-21 Saskatchewan Budget meets the challenges presented by the global COVID-19 pandemic. “Saskatchewan is strong, our province’s fiscal foundation remains solid and our economy will recover,” Finance Minster Donna Harpauer said.

The province released their full budget on Monday which includes large investments for education and healthcare. The budget showed an investment of $749 million towards advanced education, $2.6 billion for the Ministry of Education and $5.
