Government Relations Minister Lori Carr is proclaiming May 3-9 as Emergency Preparedness Week in Saskatchewan. “On top of expecting the typical emergencies like wildfires and grassfires, we are also dealing with the impact of a pandemic,” Carr said.

As workplaces continue to adjust to COVID-19 and its impacts on the world, there has been an emphasis on working from home, where possible, to try and maintain as much productivity as is feasible.

During Emergency Preparedness Week, the Saskatchewan SPCA reminds residents to include their pets in any emergency preparations.
