FREE Industrial Millwright Mechanic & Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship Program
This 24-week, full-time program prepares participants for careers in three in-demand trades: Millwright, Machining, and Industrial Electrical. Delivered in partnership with the Government of Ontario, it includes hands-on shop training, in-class theory, and multiple safety certifications—all at no cost to qualified applicants. No previous experience required.
Program Features:
-Practical training in electrical, machining, and mechanical systems
-Shop experience and instruction in tools, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and more
-Industry-recognized safety certifications
-Employability and essential skills development
Eligibility:
-Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
-Grade 12 (or equivalent)
-Interest in Millwright, Machining, or Industrial Electrical trades and looking to pursue a career in skilled trades upon completion of the training program.
Schedule & Location:
Starts soon - 24 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Training held in Burlington at two Centre for Skills sites (theory and hands-on)
