Coleville man to appear in court for impaired driving causing death

KINDERSLEY – A 27-year-old man has been charged in connection to the rollover that claimed the life of a 42-year-old Coleville man earlier this month.

Henry Kleinsasser from Coleville has been charged with impaired driving causing death, two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm dangerous driving causing death, and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.

RCMP say that they responded to the rollover on Township Road 314, about seven kilometres west of Highway 21, at about 11:45 p.m. on Sept. 12. Kleinsasser, and two other men who were passengers, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 42-year-old man was declared deceased at the scene.

Kindersley RCMP investigated, assistance from a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.

Kleinsasser isn't in custody and is scheduled to appear in Kindersley Circuit Court on Dec. 19 to enter a plea.
