Lac La Biche RCMP end shelter in place order

Police warn anyone driving on Highway 36, between Lac La Biche and Highway 28, not to stop for any pedestrians or hitch hikers.

LAC LA BICHE – Update July 27: Lac La Biche RCMP advise that Patrick Glynn is in custody.

Update 3: Lac La Biche RCMP advise the shelter in place has been lifted but want to issue a correction to say that the suspect is still at large, RCMP resources remaining in the area and the public should remain vigilant.

Update 2: Lac La Biche RCMP are pleased to report that the suspect has been safely taken into custody. The police incident and the shelter in place is now over.

Update: Lac La Biche RCMP have issued a shelter in place for Kikino Metis Settlement and are currently searching for 39-year-old Patrick Glynn, who is considered armed and dangerous.

Glynn is described as being 6-foot-2. He has a medium complexion, brown hair and hazel eyes.
