Missing man last seen hitchhiking, arrested and appears in Saskatoon court

Ronsyn Joseph Benhamin Bekkattla had his first appearance in court June 6 on charges of assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats to cause death, and failing to comply with court imposed conditions, Saskatoon Police Service has confirmed.

SASKATOON – A man missing who was believed to be hitchhiking between Saskatoon and Lloydminster appeared in Saskatoon court Monday. 

Police had issued a media release in May saying Ronsyn Bekkattla was last seen on May 23 saying he was going to meet family in Lloydminster who had been temporarily placed there due to forest fire evacuations.
