REGINA – Police have charged a Regina man in relation to a 2022 homicide investigation.
Forrestre Jade Windigo, 33, was on the RPS 'Wanted' list for second degree murder, and was recently arrested. He made an initial court appearance on the charge on May 23.
The murder charge stems from an assault on Oct. 12, 2022, which resulted in a call to police to attend the Regina General Hospital just before 1 a.m. At that time, an unknown male was at the hospital with serious wounds. The man was later identified as Bryant Thayne Starr, who passed away two weeks later while in care.
