Update: Police investigate year’s 4th homicide, 20th Street, Saskatoon

A 35-year-old male victim was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short while later.

SASKATOON — Update: Saskatoon police say Saskatoon police have concluded a weapons investigation in the 200 block of 20th Street West and are now investigating the city's fourth homicide of 2024.

At approximately 1:51 p.m., on Feb. 19, patrol officers responded to a report of a male being stabbed on the 200 block of 20th Street West. The suspect had fled the scene before police arrival. A 35-year-old male victim was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short while later.

Investigators with the Major Crime, Serious Assault Unit and Forensic Identification Sections continue to investigate. Further updates will be released as more information becomes available.
