Regina police arrest man after finding shotgun in his backpack

Regina police say that at about 10:35 p.m. on Aug. 4, they were called to the 1600 block of Badham Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious person in the area.

REGINA – A 36-year-old man is facing weapons offences after police found a shotgun in his backpack.

Regina police say that at about 10:35 p.m. on Aug. 4, they were called to the 1600 block of Badham Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious person in the area. 

Bruce Lynn Beadle of Regina was arrested without incident and charged with possession of a firearm knowing its possession was unauthorized and possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.

Beadle appears in Regina Provincial Court on Aug. 8.
