REGINA — On Saturday, April 13, at 8 a.m., Regina City Police received a report of a stolen parked truck from a lot on McIntyre Street.

Despite being locked, the keys had been taken earlier.

Police located the truck on King Street around midnight, where a male was seen swapping license plates before driving off.

They deployed a tire deflation device on 8th Avenue in an attempt to halt the truck.

The aerial Support Unit tracked the truck speeding north on Queen Street until it crashed into a tree on 4th Avenue, leading to the suspect’s arrest.

Identified and found in violation of a release condition, the individual now faces charges.
