Saskatoon police ask public for tips in historic homicides

SASKATOON – On the anniversaries of historic homicides, Saskatoon Police Service investigators appeal to the public for information.

Tuesday marked the anniversary of the May 30, 1974, murder of Dorothy Frances Cathcart [Hall], 47, William Graham, 41, and Frank Harder, 58. Their bodies were found after a welfare check was requested at a home in the 2700 block of 20th Street West as the occupants had not been seen for some time.

When police arrived, they found the house had been broken into through the back door, and three people were located deceased inside. All three had been shot and a revolver was recovered at the scene.

The three were 47, 41, and 58-years-old at the time of the homicides, respectively. 

Saturday marked the ninth anniversary of the murder of 55-year-old Linda Clark.

On May 27, 2014, shortly after midnight, officers were dispatched to an apartment block in the 100 block of 25th Street West in response to several reports of gunshots. Responding officers located Clark deceased from a gunshot wound outside of the apartment building. 

Through the police investigation, three persons of interest were identified however no arrests have been made.
