REGINA – In a show of visibility and community commitment, nearly 90 Regina Police Service (RPS) officers and civilian employees fanned out across downtown and the Heritage Neighbourhood on Wednesday as part of the monthly “All Out” Progressive Policing Initiative.
The effort, which blends data-informed enforcement with grassroots engagement, saw officers chatting with business owners, connecting with local service providers, and fielding questions from residents about public safety concerns.
“This monthly check in with our community is just one part of our work to keep our city safe,” posted RPS on social media. “We also just really enjoy the meaningful conversations we get to have with our community on days like this.”
This initiative comes in response to findings from the 2023 Community Perceptions Survey that highlighted a need for increased police presence in our city.
