Two arrested in Carry the Kettle quadruple murder, back in court

New court dates have been set for two people, charged in connection with a quadruple murder on the Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation.

REGINA — New court dates have been set for two people, charged in connection with a quadruple murder on the Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation.

On Feb. 4, the File Hills First Nations Police Service received a report of sudden deaths at a home on Carry the Kettle.

They located two men and two women, who had been shot to death.

18-year-old Darius Racette was in Regina Provincial Court Friday, where he was remanded in custody to Aug. 29.

His co-accused, a 15-year-old boy, who can’t be named due to his age, was also in Regina Provincial Court Friday, and he was remanded in custody to Sept. 18.
